Meet the Owners Amy and Katie

Kids Zone originated from the idea that quality, flexible childcare was needed in the Westerville/Polaris area and a safe place for your schoolager to be when school is not in session.(Example: Snow Days)   Kids Zone offers a variety of services including hourly, part-time, full-time and drop-in care. Our focus is to create a learning environment that meets your child’s emotional, social, and intellectual needs.

Kids Zone is privately owned and operated by Amy and Katie.  Kids Zone Employees meet the highest standard of experience and are dedicated to giving your child quality care. Amy and Katie are on-site each day to oversee the program and give each parent personal attention to accommodate their needs whether it be full-time or part-time care.


Hello my name is Amy! I am one of the owners/directors of Kids Zone Flexible Childcare. I have an Associate Degree from Columbus State Community College in Early Childhood Development. I continued my education and received a Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in child Psychology and Sociology from Otterbein College. I worked in the Westerville Public School System for two years in all grade levels. I live in Westerville with my husband Kevin and our daughter Taylor.
 Hello my name is Katie! I am one of the owners/directors of Kids Zone Flexible Childcare. I have an Associate Degree from Columbus State Community College in Early Childhood Development. I taught first grade for a year at Northwood's Elementary in Jacksonville, North Carolina.
